Soaring Toward a Higher Level of Nutrition for Kids!
We are a registered charity that began operation in October 1999. Our goal is to ensure all V.E.S. students have access to nutritious food. Children with full tummies are more successful!
Meals will be provided on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Our lunches include a healthy main course, vegetable, salad, yogurt or fruit. Our portion sizes are based on the Canada Food Guide.
Sorry but there are no alternative food choices for children with food allergies, food intolerances, religious beliefs or dislikes.
The cost per meal is $5.00. If your financial circumstances prevent you from having your child(ren) participate in this lunch program, please pay what you can. All matters will be strictly confidential.
We are happy to have Karen Hughes continue in the position of head cook for the school year! She is eager to provide healthy meals to your child(ren). We are so grateful to have Karen running our kitchen! Thank you for all you do, Karen!
