Janna McLaughlin

Hello there! I’m Janna McLaughlin. I have been teaching since 2005! I
completed a Bachelor of Education at the University of Alberta, a Bachelor of
Arts at the University of Saskatchewan and a Master of Education through the
University of Calgary.
I feel very blessed and fortunate to be your child’s teacher. There is a lot to
love about our job! I look forward to the smiles, laughs, excitement, aha
moments, stories, engaging learning activities, opportunities to make
connections, and the growth and development each day. Our school mantra is
Being the Best We Can Be and we will work together to ensure that we are
living our mantra inside and outside of the classroom.
In my spare time I like to read, travel, play and watch sports, and spend time
with family and friends. I spend a lot of time at the hockey rink! I have three
kids: Emerson, Oliver and Ella. My husband works for Farm Credit Canada
and also farms with his brothers and dad.
I am honoured to have your child in my class and I am excited to work with
you and your child throughout the year. I know that we will have a successful
and stimulating year of learning!
