RTI Coverage Teacher
Hello! I’m Heather McRae, the RTI coverage teacher here at our school, where I have the joy of working with students from kindergarten to grade 6. I love being able to teach all the kids in our school and witnessing their growth, both academically and personally, as they embark on their journeys of learning and self-discovery.
I graduated with a degree in Education from the University of Alberta in 1998 and have had the privilege of teaching in various locations around the world, as well as in Calgary and across Alberta. After taking a break from teaching to explore different career paths and spending more time at home with my two sons, I returned to the classroom with renewed passion.
In 2019, my husband’s career brought us to Vermilion, where we’ve happily made our home. It is a great honor to be part of such an amazing community and school. In my free time, you can find me reading, baking, or planning my next travel adventure. I look forward to a wonderful school year ahead!
